Zoro watches the dice roll, his gaze flicking up to catch her expression after they settle. He half-expects Alice to wilt away and protest, which would mean an easier win for him. Instead she gently demands he close his eyes, and a flicker of amusement crosses his features. She seems embarrassed, so he doesn't tease or make light of the request. Instead, he indulges her without question, just like he did when they first met mere hours ago.He can feel her presence and sense her movements as she draws closer, and the anticipation only heightens the unexpected pleasure when their lips finally meet.
She's soft and warm and eager beneath her shyness. Zoro easily sinks into it, and when her body draws close, his hand automatically settles on the small of her back, keeping her steady as he reminds himself that he shouldn't escalate. Does the urge to slip his tongue past her lips wash over him? Yes. Does he give in?
No.
"Not bad," he agrees, his voice a touch deeper as his hand drops when she pulls away. His gaze lingers on her face, taking in the flush on her cheeks and the mixture of shyness and pride in her expression. It makes him realize there's more to her than the subtle vulnerability he picked up on during their first encounter.
He leans sideways against the edge of the table. His gaze is direct, holding hers with a steady intensity. "Though," he adds, a playful glint entering his eyes as he tilts his head just a fraction, "for a first kiss between strangers, it was... surprisingly thorough." There's a hint of teasing in his tone now, but it's warm, devoid of any harshness.
Then it's his turn, and he rolls the dice without delay, moving them right along the course of the game.
Caress Chest.
Well. It could be worse. Much worse.
But it isn't the most innocent task on the list, either.
He looks to see if she checks the dice, pausing as he lets the words sink in, watching for her reaction. Then, his voice softening slightly, he asks, "Is that alright?" He wants to make sure she's comfortable before proceeding.
